JProf. for Geosensor Systems at the FORUM GEODÄSIE 2026
The Junior Professorship in Geosensor Systems was also actively represented at this year's FORUM GEODÄSIE 2026. The event, organized by DVW e.V., offered a platform for professional exchange, networking and innovative impulses around current challenges in geodesy on 23 and 24 April 2026 in Ludwigshafen.
As part of the forum, the JProf. for Geosensor Systems, together with Lukas Raffl (Technical University of Munich, Chair of Engineering Geodesy) and Corinna Harmening (Chair of Geodetic Sensor Systems at the Geodetic Institute of KIT), supported Working Group 8 "Mobile and Autonomous Sensor Systems" and thus contributed to the content of the program.
The conference focused in particular on the effects of climate change and the role of modern geodata and technologies in the development of sustainable adaptation strategies. In addition to exciting specialist presentations and interactive formats, the event offered numerous opportunities to exchange ideas with experts from science and practice.
