Kurzbeschreibung:
Die Übungen bauen auf Grundkenntnissen der Informatik und Informationsverarbeitung auf. Insbesondere sollten die Studenten die Grundelemente der PC-Nutzung und Algorithmierung gut beherrschen. Aufbauend auf diesen Voraussetzungen werden den Studenten vertiefende Informatikkenntnisse vermittelt. Dies bezieht sich auf das Beherrschen moderner Programmierungsplattformen, vorgefertigter Simulationstools für allgemeine technische Anwendungen und auf eine Einführung in den Aufbau und der Nutzung von Geografischen Informationssystemen als Basis der ingenieurtechnischen Projektarbeit mit Daten aus zentralen Datenbanken und Messdiensten. Grundanliegen dieser Übungen soll es vor allem sein, die Studenten zur Nutzung und praktische Handhabung dieser Software als ingenieurtechnisches Werkzeug zu befähigen. Die theoretischen Grundlagen und die Entwicklung solcher Werkzeuge bleiben weiteren Spezialvorlesungen vorbehalten.
