Miguel Moreno attended the CEKA 2017 Course in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina
From 1-8 June 2017 Miguel attended the 4th International Course “Characterization and Engineering of Karst Aquifers” held in Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This international course is carried out by the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Mining and Geology, Belgrade Center for Karst Hydrogeology in cooperation with the Geological Survey of Republic Srpska, Zvornik, UNESCO and Northern Arizona University. The course consisted on lectures covering a wide range of topics related to karst terrains and field trips. Karst hydrogeology, tectonics, karst geology and vulnerability were some of the main topics evaluated in this course. Miguel got the opportunity to talk about his works in karst vulnerability, receiving good feedback from the professors and opportunities for further cooperation. Furthermore, possibility for a stay abroad in Belgrade University was discussed.
