INOWAS and IGRAC organised on 30-31 March 2017 a two-day workshop in Dresden

The Global MAR Inventory Working Group of the IAH MAR Commission (TU Dresden and IGRAC) organized on 30-31 March 2017 a two-day workshop to develop a road map for further development of global MAR knowledge and tools. One of the objectives was to identify to what extent the Junior Research group INOWAS and IGRAC can improve synergy and cooperation to promote the use of MAR on a larger scale. Several issues have been discussed, such as improvements on the existing MAR Portal and connections to the other IAH-MAR Working Groups, joint contribution to the GRIPP Innitiative, collaboration on the 2nd International INOWAS Summer School on MAR (4-15 September 2017 in Dresden), as well as joint publications and other project ideas related to site suitability mapping and web-based MAR simulation tools.
