10th International Symposium on Managed Aquifer Recharge (ISMAR10) in Madrid

From 20 to 24 May 2019, the INOWAS group participated in the ISMAR10 conference in Madrid, Spain. Catalin Stefan, Ralf Junghanns, Felix Barquero, Jana Glaß, Jana Sallwey as well as José David Henao Casas represented the junior research group INOWAS in seven oral presentations, five poster presentations, one pre-conference workshop and one pre-conference short course. Catalin Stefan was also active as chairman of a session and a member of the Scientific Committee. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that he was elected as co-chair for the IAH-MAR Commission for three years.

The conference offered an excellent opportunity to present the results of the INOWAS project to an expert audience at the end of the project, to promote their exploitation and to intensify international networking in the field of Managed Aquifer Recharge. The kick-off meeting of the DIGIRES project also took place on the fringe of the conference.
