Starting with 17 April 2023, Mohamed Elbashir became the newest member of our research group INOWAS. Mohamed completed his Master's degree at TU Dresden on Hydroscience and Engineering in 2019. During his studies, he worked with several hydrological and water quality models to assess the polluted Poltva river in Ukraine, and later continued with a 2D hydrodynamic model for the characterisation of the complex flow patterns in the braided Wairau River in New Zealand. As part of the INOWAS group, Mohamed is involved in TERESA project where he develops numerical groundwater flow models using FloPy and Jupyter Notebook We wish him a very warm welcome to our team!
