GESINUS Meeting 2026 in Dresden

On June 18 and 19, 2026, this year’s GESINUS meeting took place at TUD Dresden University of Technology. In addition to the wide range of scientific presentations on topics in the fields of sediment transport, hydromorphodynamics, particle-laden flows, dense suspensions, and experimental and numerical methods, the event focused in particular on personal exchanges and open discussions of different approaches, current issues, and unresolved challenges. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere made this year’s meeting another successful event.

Another highlight was the presentation of the GESINUS Challenge Cup to its next custodian from the University of Innsbruck.
