New study track starts: Computational Environmental Science and Engineering
Environmental Informatics education at TU Dresden is being expanded! In the winter term 26/27, a new specialization is launched within the Master’s program in Computational Modeling and Simulation: Computational Environmental Science and Engineering. This new track provides students with foundational knowledge and skills in environmental data science and environmental modeling, equipping them to apply methods and models to problems in environmental science and environmental engineering. Among other topics, modules will be offered on geodata infrastructures, hydrological modeling, individual-based ecology and modeling, and environmental and climate remote sensing.
The first students in the new specialization will begin the winter semester on October 12, 2026.
