Maximilian Bäumler was working at the Chair of Automobile Engineering at TU Dresden from October 2018 until June 2023.
After completing his studies in mechanical engineering, he obtained his Master of Business Administration as part of a tri-national MBA program at the Collège des Ingénieurs. He completed the related corporate project at Lufthansa Technik in the fields of strategy and product management.
During his mechanical engineering studies, he collected, as part of the German In-Depth Accident Study (GIDAS), data on traffic accidents involving personal injury. Moreover, he wrote his scientific papers in the field of vehicle safety at the TU Dresden.
At the Chair of Automobile Engineering, his work focused on active vehicle safety, in particular the development of evaluation methods for vehicle safety functions and highly automated driving functions.
