A visit of HEAD acoustics at the static driving simulator

A realistic driving experience on the simulator - Not without acoustic simulation!

One of the most difficult aspects of using a driving simulator is the correct representation of the driving speed. In order to represent this realistically, a high-quality acoustic simulation is required. For this reason, Dr. Bernd Philippen (picture right) from HEAD acoustics GmbH visited us at our static driving simulator and presented the new PreSense system for interactive NVH simulation. Thanks to its variable interfaces, we were able to integrate the PreSense system into our driving simulator architecture in no time and experience the great acoustic presentation live.
