Automobile Engineering 2 (KFZ 2) - Full Vehicle Functions
The basic knowledge of the vehicle components that were acquire in the lecture KFZ 1- Components and Subsystems will be expanded in the continuing module KFZ 2. In the context of the full vehicle functions, the aspects of vehicle safety are considered in conjunction with driver assistance. These contents can be deepened in another block event Safety of vehicles.
The constant mobilization as well as the scarce resources require efficient and ecological vehicles. Accordingly to this point the lecture also considers the aerodynamics of a vehicle as well as its performance and fuel consumption.
The main components of a motor vehicle could already be described in the KFZ 1. With this knowledge the braking behavior, the tilt and slip limits, the driving and steering behavior and the vibration comfort of motor vehicles will be focused in the KFZ 2. The content is rounded off by considering the energy management and the durability.
The achieve knowledge will be classified into the complex development process in the continuing module KFZ 3 -Development, Design and Validation.
