Automobile Engineering 3 (KFZ 3) - Development, Design and Validation
The lectures KFZ 1– Components and Subsystems as well as KFZ 2 – Full Vehicle Functions impart the requirements, function and characteristics of components and sub-vehicle systems – the development, dimensioning and proof of concept of these functions if the main part of KFZ 3.
The figure above shows the process of development in his typical V-form. Almost every car part and system as well as the vehicle itself goes through this schema.
The lecture deals with the structure of the V-model itself as well as the project planning. The pre-development, a process which precedes the V-model and partly runs in parallel, is dealt with separately.
Furthermore, the standard architecture, functional concept development as well as serial development are observed. The proof of concept of the process of development in each stage of development is as much a component as the planning of development methods and quality assurance.
In addition to that, you get a glimpse to the corresponding dimensioning and validation-methods (Simulation/Test bench/Test drive)
In the overall context of KFZ 1, KFZ 2 and KFZ 3, comprehensive knowledge of vehicle functions, development and dimensioning can be acquired.
