New: Signal Template 3.0
Announced in 2021, it is now finally available: Signal Template 3.0. This comes with a significant change compared to previous versions: Almost all symbols have been redrawn and now feature the original sizes (including line widths) from the digital LST planning according to RIL 819.9002A01 “Symbols for PlanPro Output Formats.” Of course, this also applies to the Signal Template Construction.
Of the 32 new features, here are just a few:
New symbols:
- Turnout position indicator
- Double track block
- Main and side tracks overlapping
- OB panel
- Field element junction box and cabinet
- Speed on a track connection (in km/h)
Symbols modified or newly introduced with digital LST planning:
- Direction and advance direction indicators
- Lf disc
- Electrically controlled turnout
- Automatic return switch
- Electrically operated fallback switch
- Train route destination with blocked passage
Of course, older symbols required for existing infrastructure or for conventional LST planning are also still included. The complete version history can be viewed at http://signalschablone.maschexx.de/#section-5.
