Visit to the metro and transport college in Hanoi

Dr. Maschek visited Hanoi in March. The first stop was the metro company, which currently operates two lines; further lines are being built. In addition to a tour of operations, the focus was on an exchange of experiences on urban transport concepts and the basics of safety in transport systems.

There was also a visit to the Hanoi Transport College (UTC), to which the Master's degree course in Railway System Engineering was exported a few years ago. The focus here was an exchange on the design of rail-related degree programs.
