Largest digital on-site exam successfully completed to date

After the Chair of Railway Signaling and Transport Safety Technology successfully tested a digital on-site exam on a small scale last semester, the largest exam of its kind to date has now been carried out with around 50 participants. This again required the booking of a lecture hall with power sockets. Once again, the exam results were available just one day after the exam - a pleasant effect of digital exams.

As the examination format has proven its worth, the Chair will continue to use it in the future for groups of around 20 participants or more, as the effort is not worth it for smaller groups. For larger groups, however, the advantages clearly outweigh the disadvantages, such as saving on correction work and paper. Digitization has thus also arrived in examinations!
