Partners
We would like to give you an insight into our cooperation practices. Here you can find a list of selected partners that we have worked with in the past.
Other research institutions
The Chair of Transport Ecology is collaborating with the Department of Integrated Transport Planning (Technische Universität Berlin) in creating a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on the subject of “Sustainable Development in Transport”. The project is part of the TU9 initiative “Cooperative online courses in the field of engineering”.
Some other research institutions we are currently collaborating with in different projects are e.g. the German Institute of Urban Affairs (Difu) as well as the Austrian mobility research (FGM AMOR).
Local authorities
There are always a lot of interested parties on a local level collaborating with us in pursuing the goal of a more sustainable transport development. We are working with the cities of Dresden, Berlin and Stuttgart to name just a few examples.
Associations and Foundations
The Chair of Transport Ecology is an educational partner of the VCD project “VCD 2050”. We support the association in planning, developing and implementing educational offers and programs for promoting sustainable mobility. In turn, the VDC supports us with ideas as well as personnel resources and materials necessary to develop and implement such offers.
Above all else the Dr. Joachim und Hanna Schmidt Stiftung für Umwelt und Verkehr as well as the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung e.V. and the DIVU (Institute of Environment and Transport Dresden) have to be mentioned as important partners.
