Review of the Complete Vehicle Practical Course 2025
On June 6, 2025, over 100 students from TU Dresden, HTW Dresden, TU Darmstadt and TH Ingolstadt took part in this year's complete vehicle practical course - an established teaching format for in-depth, practical vehicle technology content. The DEKRA test site at the Lausitzring once again offered ideal conditions for this.

Offroad Station
At seven stations, the participants were not only able to observe key aspects of modern vehicle technology, but also experience them for themselves:
- Driving dynamics
- Steering behavior
- Braking behavior
- Driving comfort
- Vehicle safety
- Commercial vehicles
As well as an off-road station for the first time, which focused on longitudinal dynamics on unpaved roads.

Driving Comfort Station
The weather was just as varied as the program: between sunshine, strong winds and sudden rain showers, participants and vehicles had to adapt flexibly to new conditions time and again.

Braking Behavior Station
Successful teaching thrives on the interaction between science and practice. We would like to thank Audi, BMW, Porsche and FSD for their close cooperation, which makes the experience even better for students.
The complete vehicle internship remains a firm component of application-oriented teaching. We are already looking forward to the next round in 2026.
