HTWD Automotive Test Area

Thanks to the collaboration with the Chair of Automotive Mechatronics at the Dresden University of Applied Sciences (HTWD), the automotive test area can be used for measurement purposes, particularly in the context of teaching and student theses.

The test area is suitable for measurements in the areas of cehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication, satellite-based (GNSS) and hybrid terrestrial positioning, as well as the evaluation of automotive environmental sensors. In addition, the test field is equipped with a leaky coaxial cable (LCX), in the guardrail, which acts as an antenna to enable intelligent communication across various services and frequencies (up to 6 GHz) between infrastructure and vehicles.
