SIMLAB

During the SIMLAB laboratory the students of the degree course “transport engineering” with the field of study “traffic telematics” and “planning and service of electrical traffic systems” have to perform some compulsory practicals.

The aim of these practicals is to introduce the students in:

• programming using the simulation and development tool Matlab/Simulink with traffic telematics orientated toolboxes
• automatic device control as well as data acquisition and evaluation of telematics components by using the LabVIEW development environment
• parameterisation of radio planning tools for traffic telematics supply scenarios (including the necessary CAD-modelling software)
• application software for multimedia processing in telematics field (speech-, audio-, image-, video coding and processing)
