Reserach Visit from Japan

A five-man team from the Japanese Kobe University under Prof. Kokubu's management visited us from November 21 to November 27, 2015 as part of a cooperative research project.
In cooperation with the Chair of Environmental Management and Accounting and the Chair of Management Accounting/Controlling as well as our Japanese colleagues a study on corporate management and environmental management has been devised over the past three years, and a dyadic survey to over 2,000 Japanese and German companies both to CFOs and environmental managers has been conducted. The central concern of the recent visit were initial analyses of the collected data, discussions about future research concepts and the realization of a best practice workshop with participants of the study in Germany.
In addition to intensive research exchange, of course our guests also found time to get to know Dresden and Germany's Christmas Traditions.
