22nd enerCONNECT round table with Manuel Eising

Manuel Eising is Senior Consultant and Client Advisor at Baringa Partners LLP. At the 22nd round table, he gave us a closer look at the energy and environmental consulting company Baringa and its fields of activity. With the help of the energy system model PLEXOS, market reports are created and specific business models are analyzed for energy suppliers or industrial customers worldwide. Manuel emphasized that his education at the TU Dresden and especially at the Chair of Energy Economics prepared him optimally for his current tasks.

Previously, Manuel Eising worked at EIFER - European Institute for Energy Research (cooperation of EDF and KIT) in the field of policy analysis and energy market studies. At the meeting, Manuel gave us an insight into his work on the topics of the energy control reserve market and congestion management (European Balancing Guideline, direct marketing, feed-in management, Redispatch 2.0, passive balancing, etc.).
