COLEDD Doctoral Seminar
On May 7, 2026, the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Energy Economics, hosted the 8th interdepartmental doctoral seminar on energy economics, COLEDD, in Dresden - in collaboration with the Universities of Cottbus and Leipzig - and would like to thank all participants for their excellent cooperation and the interesting discussions.
Once again, the seminar provided an excellent platform for discussing current research topics in energy economics—ranging from hydrogen supply chains and the expansion of heating systems based on renewable energy, to offshore investments and grid development costs, all the way to public acceptance of energy policy measures. Particularly gratifying were the high quality of the presentations and the constructive feedback the doctoral students received.
From the Chair of Energy Economics, Andreas Büttner and Akshay Yadav provided insight into their work on the development of grid tariffs and integration measures for offshore energy.
Special thanks go to all participants who helped ensure that the seminar ran so smoothly and was so inspiring.
We are already looking forward to the next round next year, when COLEDD will be organized by the local Chair in Cottbus.
