Review: Workshop on equilibrium and complementarity models in the energy and environmental economy
On June 2022, the Chair of Energy Economics hosted a workshop on equilibrium and complementarity models in the energy and environmental economy at TU Dresden. Prof. Dr. Möst and his team, in particular Mr. Hannes Hobbie, organized the workshop as part of the working group Operations Research in Environmental Protection of the Gesellschaft für Operations Research e.V. (GOR).
Researchers from different areas of operations research discussed current research work and results from environmentally relevant fields of equilibrium and complementarity modelling and related methods and generated impulses for further research.
The internationally renowned transport researcher Professor Travis Waller provided an exciting introduction in his keynote lecture on "Pervasive Data and Emerging Methodologies for Quantifying the Broader Impacts of Mobility Systems via Transport Network Equilibrium".
The participants of the workshop not only received exciting insights into the various research topics of the speakers, but were also able to make many new contacts. The complete program can be viewed under the following link.
