Presentation Frank Reinecke (Partner High-Tech Gründerfonds) as part of the lecture Financial Technology

On 18 January 2024, Frank Reinecke, Partner at High-Tech Gründerfonds, was a guest in the Financial Technology lecture and spoke for 90 minutes about his experiences as a founder and venture capital (VC) investor, particularly in the field of digital business models. After a brief introduction to High-Tech Gründerfonds, which is one of the most active VC funds in Germany, Frank Reinecke reported on which characteristics of start-ups are particularly important for financing and why the focus should be on the scalability of a business.
In his interactive presentation, Reinecke repeatedly asked the numerous students in attendance questions about common business models and key figures in the VC sector and was then able to explain what the right answer would have been from an investor's perspective.
Frank Reinecke was a founder himself before his time as an investor and managed three successful exits. He also gained experience as a consultant before joining High-Tech Gründerfonds in 2019. Mr Reinicke has since built up a portfolio of 12 companies in the software sector at High-Tech Gründerfonds. We would like to thank Frank Reinecke for his interesting and informative presentation!
