Prof. Dr. Udo Buscher is the holder of the Chair of Industrial Management since september 2004. Learn more about the professor.

Besides the basic courses, the Chair offers specialisations in Operations Management and Operations Research.

Our Chair cooperates with various industrial partners to create practical problem solutions.

The Chair of Business Administration, in particular Industrial Management, was taken over by Prof. Dr. Udo Buscher in 2003.
The current staff of 17 is actively supported by 6 Student Assistants.
To date, 224 publications have been produced, including numerous articles in internationally renowned journals.
In addition, 128 Bachelor, 126 Master and 252 Diploma students have written their theses at the Chair.
To date, 18 doctorates and two habilitations have been successfully completed. On average, a dissertation comprised 315 pages, although there were also outliers at the bottom (124 pages) and at the top (701 pages).
Employees of the Chair took part in the competition for the most family-friendly Chair at TU Dresden with a total of 34 children born during their employment at the Chair - this corresponds to 1.5 births per year.
