15. Saxon Doctoral Workshop on Production and Logistics
After a long break, the 15th edition of the Saxon Doctoral Workshop on Production and Logistics was held last Thursday, 30.01.25, in the Festsaal of the Faculty of Management Sciences at TU Dresden. The workshop has been bringing together professors and Phd students from TU Dresden, TU Bergakademie Freiberg and TU Chemnitz for many years and promotes both the exchange of knowledge and the development of new ideas.
Doctoral students from TU Dresden were able to present their current research results in four of the five lectures. Among the speakers was our research associate Alexander Blume, who gave exciting insights into the game-theoretical analysis of a hydrogen supply chain for sustainable steel production in his presentation entitled “Bi-level Optimization for Green Hydrogen Supply Chains - An Application in the Steel Industry”.
He was joined by Lydia Hilarius from the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Management Science, Richard Pergande and Martin Schönheit from the Chair of Business Administration, in particular Logistics, and Hamed Rajabzadeh from TU Freiberg.
We would like to thank all participants for coming and for their helpful comments and are already looking forward to the next meeting in the not too distant future.
