Visit King's College, London
From September 12 to 14, Udo Buscher visited his colleague Rym M’Hallah (Prof. of Systems Engineering) in London as part of the transCampus partnership between TU Dresden and King's College. Currently, a joint paper with Benedikt Zipfel (Chair of Industrial Management) deals with how selected machine scheduling problems for additive manufacturing processes such as 3D printing can be modeled and solved.
The visit also served to identify additional formats and research fields to intensify cooperation - especially within the framework of the transCampus partnership. For this purpose, a proposal was finalized and a return visit to Dresden was planned.
