Clover Optimization was awarded the Digital Innovation Founder’s Prize by BMWK
We are thrilled to announce that Clover Optimization, a spin-off of the Chair of Business Administration, esp. Industrial Management, has been awarded the Digital Innovation Founder’s Prize by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). At the award ceremony, held under the patronage of Minister Robert Habeck, Maurice Morabel accepted the prize on behalf of the company.
Supported by the 75th EXIST Startup Grant, Clover Optimization is developing a planning tool for integrated route and vehicle loading optimization. This tool is hitting the mark at the right time, as the transport sector in Germany is booming: in 2021 alone, almost 3 billion tons of goods were transported by road. To ensure that these goods are delivered quickly and in a resource-efficient manner, logistics companies are increasingly relying on software solutions for optimized planning. This is where the Clover Optimization team comes in, making the process even more efficient by combining two complex planning steps. Furthermore, this innovative approach not only improves efficiency but also contributes to sustainability in the transport sector.
The Digital Innovation Founder’s Prize is a valuable recognition of Clover Optimization’s achievements and innovative strength so far. It reinforces our vision to make the logistics industry more efficient and sustainable through intelligent software solutions.
