Doctoral seminar with Prof. Rubén Ruiz

From 03.02. to 07.02.2020 we had the pleasure to welcome Rubén Ruiz, Professor of Statistics and Operations Research at the Universitat Politècnica de València. Prof. Ruiz is well known as editor of the journals OR Perpectives and European Journal of Industrial Engineering as well as an outstanding researcher and author of numerous scientific publications, especially in the field of machine scheduling. In his doctoral seminar on Modern Metaheuristics, about 20 participants benefited from his experience and expertise. In the valuable exchange promising topics for a future cooperation could be identified. We would like to thank him for the great time and are looking forward to the joint research!
