Review OR Conference 2021

From 31.08. - 03.09.2021 the  "Operations Research (OR) 2021" took place.  The OR is an annual conference of the national operations research societies from Germany (GOR), Austria (ÖGOR) and Switzerland (SVOR). OR 2021 was organized by the University of Bern and held digitally due to the Corona pandemic.

Two of our colleagues gave a talk and the related papers have now been accepted for the conference proceedings, which will be published soon:

• Franz Ehm (in cooperation with the University Hospital Dresden): "Classifying ready-for-transfer patients in the intensive care unit based on clinical data".
•  Michael Hölscher (in cooperation with the University School Dresden): "The student-project allocation problem as part of the timetabling in project-oriented schools".

This year the OR 2022 will take place from 06-09.09 in Karlsruhe.
