Seminars in SoSe 2021
In the summer semester 2021, the following seminars will be offered at the Chair of Industrial Management. For further details please click on the name of the respective course.
- IM Challenge: In the summer semester 2021, the 7th edition of the IM Challenge will be held under the motto "Catch the fare dodger". The event, which has the character of a competition, aims to optimize personnel planning in public transport. Interested students can register in OPAL from 01.04.21 and receive all necessary information there. The kick-off event will take place online on 23.04.21, 11:10 am.
- Advanced Approaches in Industrial Management: In this course you will prepare a seminar paper in English of 25 pages on a selected topic of industrial management and present your results in a lecture at the end. Interested students please enroll in OPAL during the period 01.04.-15.04.21 (including submission of a transcript of grades). The kick-off meeting will be held on 16.04.21.
- Bachelorseminar: This module and the seminar paper (20 pages) on topics of industrial management serves as preparation for the preparation of a bachelor thesis. Interested students please register in OPAL in the period from 01.04.-15.04.21 (incl. submission of a transcript of grades). The kick-off meeting will be held on 16.04.21.
- WPA-Seminar: In this seminar, you will learn about the requirements for a scientific paper and apply the knowledge you have acquired to a 10-page seminar paper. Places in the seminar are allocated centrally by the faculty. You can register in OPAL from 25.02.-31.03.21 and indicate your preferred chairs via a survey there. Students assigned to our chair will be notified of the date of the kick-off event following the distribution.
- Prescriptive Analytics mit Python: In this seminar you can learn application-oriented programming with the language "Python" and implement heuristic methods for optimization problems. Unfortunately, there are currently no more places available in this course, but it will most likely be offered again in the next summer semester.
