VIPES Project Workshop in Vienna

Last week we had our second face-to-face meeting within the VIPES project. For this, we visited our partners from ÖBB, the University of Vienna and dwh GmbH. In two packed sessions, interim results were presented, next steps were planned ahead and ideas were discussed. Paul Päprer presented our current algorithm for solving crew scheduling.

In addition to the content part, we were able to get to know Vienna in the evening in the course of a small city tour. At the end we got some great views from the ÖBB Tower. Thanks to the project partners from Vienna for the very successful workshop!
