Profile

The chair of business management esp. logistics was founded in the winter semester 1997/1998 at the faculty of business and economics at the Technische Universität Dresden and is one of the largest chairs of the faculty.

The study is divided into procurement logistics, production logistics, distribution logistics, after sales logistics as well as logistics management and information systems. The focus of the study enables graduates to recognize and analyze typical problems in the area of logistics. Moreover, they may transform them into innovative solutions and transfer the solution into practice. The course is characterized substantially by customer orientation, holistic process control and service orientation.
