An elementary requirement  of the research activities of the chair is the practical application of the developed tools and methods in everyday business, which can take place for example in the form of consultant contracts. The chair already collected significant experience in designing customized solutions for companies in the areas of industry, transport and logistics. The chair holder supports together with his academic staff the transfer of this knowledge and know-how in the stages requirement analysis, design and implementation support.
