Melanie Mischer
CV
Melanie Mischer studied Business Administration at Dresden University of Technology from 2012 to 2017, specializing in Accounting and Finance – particularly Controlling – as well as Environmental Accounting and Energy Economics. During her studies, she worked as a student research assistant at OncoRay (research area Value Based Innovation), at the Chair of Sustainability Management and Environmental Accounting, and at the Chair of Management Accounting and Control. Since August 2017, she has been working at the Chair of Management Accounting and Control – initially on the third-party funded project GADIAM, and subsequently in teaching, including the areas of Cost, Time and Quality Management, Business Valuation, Strategic Controlling, and Risk Controlling. Her research interests lie at the intersection of Management Accounting & Control and Organizational Psychology, with a particular focus on role transformation and digitalization in controlling as well as role stress and well-being of controllers in the context of digital resources and Business Analytics.
