The 85th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management (AOM) took place from July 25th to July 29th, 2025, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The AOM is the preeminent professional association for management and organization scholars, and its annual meeting is considered the most important conference in this field. This year, more than 13,000 participants gathered to network and exchange ideas on the latest developments in management and organizational scholarship. The Chair of Organization and Management was represented with three research projects by Dr. Ann Sophie Lauterbach and Prof. Dr. Stefan Razinskas.
Dr. Lauterbach presented the study “Are you afrAId? Examining workplace attitudes toward AI and employee performance,” co-authored with Sophie Johanna Moser (University of Konstanz). In collaboration with Haien Ding (BI Norwegian Business School, Norway) and Prof. Frida K. Feyer, Ph.D. (Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Norway), she also contributed the presentation “Are self-determination theory’s basic psychological needs necessary for employee well-being?” to this year’s conference. Finally, Prof. Razinskas participated in the conference with the study “The role of daily psychological safety in recovery within multi-team membership environments,” which is joint work with Prof. Dr. Silja Hartmann (TU Berlin), Prof. Dr. Julia Backmann (University of Münster), and Prof. Mark Mortensen, Ph.D. (INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France).
