Welcome Dr. Inga Katharina Götz!

We warmly welcome Dr. Inga Katharina Götz, who joined our chair as a postdoc on October 1, 2026. As part of the Cluster of Excellence project REC² [Responsible Electronics in the Climate Change Era], she will conduct research on sustainability assessment.

Previously, she worked as a researcher at the German Biomass Research Centre (DBFZ) starting in 2023, where she focused on life cycle assessment and the certification of sustainable technologies and products. Her research interests encompass sustainability assessment and certification, as well as materials and energy research.

She completed her doctorate in Physics at Uppsala University in Sweden, in cooperation with RWTH Aachen University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Energy and Materials Physics from TU Clausthal and a Bachelor’s degree in Energy and Environmental Management from Flensburg University of Applied Sciences.
