"WiPäd-WiInf" Dual Degree: A Combination of Business Education and Management Training and Business Information Systems

The Faculty of Business and Economics has recently begun offering its students the opportunity to combine the Diplom degree program in Business Information Systems with the Bachelor’s degree program in Business Education and Management Training (with a qualification track in Computer Science). Students can earn a degree in both programs—without extending the duration of their studies.

The program is designed for students who wish to address both technological and educational-psychological issues. This combination enables students to acquire skills in the development and design of digital solutions as well as in their teaching and application in educational and business contexts. In doing so, it opens up new perspectives for students at the intersection of digital transformation and education. The dual degree thus qualifies graduates for a wide range of career fields—from vocational training and personnel development to IT and education management.

This program is aimed at prospective students who wish to begin their studies at TU Dresden, as well as students majoring in Business Information Systems or Business Education and Management Training who are currently in their 1st through 3rd semesters and are interested in both fields.
