We've just wrapped up an inspiring and insightful BERA (Business Education Research Association) conference!

Last week, as part of the BERA conference, our Chair of Business Education and Management Training welcomed Professors Carmela Aprea (University of Mannheim), Annette Ostendorf (University of Innsbruck), Susan Seeber (University of Göttingen), Michaela Stock (University of Graz), and Eveline Wuttke (University of Frankfurt), along with their doctoral students, as part of the BERA conference.

The conference focused on the doctoral students’ current dissertation projects on the following topics: Metawork, financial education, curricular interpretation, learning in a socioeconomic context, career orientation, learning between virtual and real realities, and adaptive learning in continuing vocational education. The presentations offered exciting insights into various fields of research in Business Education and Management Training and provided numerous opportunities for in-depth professional discussions and intensive academic exchange.

A highlight was the city scavenger hunt on Wednesday evening. With great creativity and dedication, our staff members Anja Rogas and Eva Jana Friese organized a varied tour through Dresden—including rhyming puzzles and challenges they developed themselves. The rally took us to some of the city’s most beautiful spots and, in addition to the academic program, offered numerous opportunities for personal conversations and new networking connections.
