Participation of the Chair of Business Education and Management Training at the Annual Meeting of the AERA
From April 8 to 12, 2026, the Annual Meeting of the AERA (American Educational Research Association) will take place in Los Angeles, USA. The AERA is the world's leading association for educational research and its annual meeting is considered the most important conference in this field. The Chair of Business Education and Management Training is represented with three papers by Dr. Ianina Scheuch and Prof. Dr. Bärbel Fürstenau.
In the paper "Building Future Minds of the 21st Century: Using LEGO® Serious Play® to Foster Entrepreneurship, Positive Psychology, and Financial Literacy at Schools", the authors use three examples to show how LEGO® Serious Play® can be used to promote entrepreneurship, positive psychology and financial literacy among students. The project in collaboration with King's College London is presented in the article "Time to Thrive: Design and Evaluation of a Positive Psychology-Based Online Program to Foster Well-Being and Resilience Among University Students in Germany and the UK". Time to Thrive is an online-based program for students that was monitored and evaluated at the Chair. In the third contribution, "Time to Flourish: A Global Study on Entrepreneurial and Leadership Education in Disruptive Times", Dr. Scheuch presents results from a long-term project on the well-being of female entrepreneurs in Europe.
