Project "Wert-QM"
In cooperation with a project-accompanying committee of medium-sized partners from the company's practice, the FGMU has successfully carried out the research project "Value-oriented Quality Management" „Wertorientiertes Qualitätsmanagement (Wert-QM)“ funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and implemented by the AiF and the DGQ. It is directly focused on the needs and concerns of medium-sized companies and has as its subject the development of an integrated management concept for the avoidance of value destruction, ie for the preservation and control of the increase in value within the company.

Objectives, benefits, partners
Objectives of the project:
- Development of a practicable management concept with 4 integrated levels
- Development of an easy-to-use software
- Development of a systematic and guideline-based approach
Benefits of the project:
- Creation of a holistic quality understanding and quality awareness
- Identification and understanding of cause-effect relationships
- Decision preparation and support
- Derivation and implementation of targeted measure
The 4 levels:
1. Issue-Management
- Recognizing as many as possible issues that jeopardize the achievement of the vision and the implementation of the strategy as a promise of quality
- Classification in the map of the quality issues
2. Risik-Management
- Creating the classic risk portfolio based on the local extent of damage and the likelihood of occurrenc
- Position determination in the risk portfolio
3. Damage potential analysis
- Analysis of the effect of the respective risk on the enterprise value
- Determination of the global extent of damage
- Basis for classifying the fully rated risks into damage classes
4. Emergency-Management
- Derivation and implementation of measures for dealing with the risks in the individual damage classes
- Business impact analysis and process stability, contingency planning, corporate governance measures and damage classes
