The Organization & Management Group Dresden (OMG) is a research group for the area of Management & Organization at the TU Dresden. The group serves as an open platform to:
- present current research projects and working papers and get feedback in a trusted space,
- invite international guests
- to discuss articles already in the review process, including reviewers' comments, in order to think together about the best ways to incorporate the reviewers' comments,
- to discuss current papers or books together.
Monthly meetings are held, always on Wednesdays at the same time from 18:15-19:45. The format is not only aimed at professors but is also explicitly open to interested (Post)PhD-students.

This research colloquium is jointly organized by the Chairs of Organization (Prof. Dr. Blagoy Blagoev and Prof. Dr. Frank Schirmer), the Chair of Marketing (Prof. Dr. Florian Siems) and the Junior Professorship of Human Resources Management (Jun.-Prof. Dr. Sebastian Störmer).
The target group are doctoral students of Business Administration who use behavioral and social science approaches and have already found their topic, but are still in a phase of conceptual and methodological clarification or want to present initial research results.

Economics group
The graduate Economics seminar will alternate with the colloquium of the faculty. During the semester, the colloquium takes place in the Festsaal on Tuesdays from 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm.
In order to obtain a certificate, a presentation must be given. Furthermore, at least 50% of the presentations of the colloquium must be attended within two years. PhD students who do not live in Dresden or the surrounding areas must also prove a minimum attendance during the graduate seminar and the colloquium of the faculty. Upon application, their attendance may be reduced to seven dates within two years.
