Introductory workshop for new doctoral candidates
The Faculty of Business Administration and Economics would like to support doctoral candidates in their "search process" for their dissertation and therefore organizes the workshop "Doctoral Studies at the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics" twice a year.
The workshop is aimed in particular at new employees of the Faculty and (external) doctoral students who are at the beginning or in an early phase of their dissertation. The workshop is organized and held by postdocs of the faculty who already have experience with the essential phases of a dissertation. They will talk about possible stumbling blocks and give helpful tips.
The next workshop will take place on 10.12.2024 from 13:00-15:00 in the Festsaal . All new doctoral students will receive a personal invitation.
Wiwi doctoral student get-together
All doctoral students of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics are cordially invited to the regulars' table to discuss their doctorates and everything else in a relaxed atmosphere.
The regulars' table takes place once a month and is something for you if
- you want to get to know PhD students from other departments.
- you know the best PhD meme.
- you want to celebrate your latest success.
- you have a problem and need other perspectives.
- you sometimes feel lonely while doing your PhD.
- you want to expand your network.
- you just want to spend a nice evening with others.
Dates for the Stammtisch are sent out by e-mail.
The Stammtisch is organized by Lisa Junge (Chair of Sustainability Management and Environmental Economics) and Sabrina Schmidt (Carlowitz Junior Professorship of Sustainability Management and Policy). Both are available to answer any questions.
