OR 2024 in Munich: Junior Professorship for Management Science with three lectures and Young Researchers Award for Prof. Becker

The international OR2024 conference took place at the Technical University of Munich from September 3 to 6, 2024. Under the motto "Data, Learning, and Optimization", the conference offered around 650 participants the opportunity to discuss current research results and innovative ideas at the interface of operations research and machine learning.

The Junior Professorship of Management Science at TU Dresden was also represented with three presentations on current research topics. Tristan Becker and Julia Erdmann presented their latest research results and received valuable impulses for their future work.

It is particularly pleasing that Tristan Becker was honoured with the GOR Young Researchers Award during the opening session. One of his presentations took place during the award winners' session.
