The Chair of International Economics, in coordination with the Junior Professorship for International Economic Policy, offers lectures and seminars dealing with aspects of globalization and development.

In the Bachelor’s, we offer the International Trade Theory and Policy course and a seminar.

For the Master’s, courses prepare students to write an empirical thesis in development economics using geospatial data.

In the first two semesters, method courses on empirical economics and geographic information systems bring students closer to applied work in economics.

Two courses in the second and third semesters teach theoretical foundations of development economics.

In the second semester, an empirical research project helps students prepare for their Master’s thesis.

In all semesters, we offer at least one accompanying seminar.
