Pavia (ERASMUS and double degree)
Integrated German-Italian Master's degree program in Business Administration / Economics
Since 2017, the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at TU Dresden and the Università di Pavia have been offering a two-year integrated German-Italian Master's degree program in Business Administration and Economics.
Students spend one year in Dresden and one year in Pavia and receive degrees from both universities (Master of Science in Dresden, Laurea Magistrale in Pavia).
What are your advantages?
- You can increase your chances on the job market by gaining a competitive advantage through your double degree.
- The thesis can be completed either in Dresden or Pavia. The defense of the Master's thesis takes place in Pavia.
- Credit points earned abroad are automatically recognized on the basis of a previously agreed learning agreement.
- You can perfect your language skills, gain experience abroad and study at a university abroad.
Students on this German-Italian study program study at both universities as regular students and complete the last two semesters of their Master's degree at the partner university. They take part of their Master's examination at both universities in accordance with the regulations applicable there. A total of 60 ECTS must be completed in Pavia.
Students are fully enrolled at the TU Dresden or the Università di Pavia for the entire duration of their studies and are subject to the regulations of both universities. Tuition fees are only charged at the home university.
Examinations are held in the respective national languages in accordance with the regulations for Master's examinations at the respective university. In addition to the national certificates, students receive a Diploma Supplement which explains the respective national education system.
Application requirements for the integrated double Master's program are enrollment in the Master's program in Business Administration or Economics at TU Dresden (please note the admission requirements, in particular the aptitude assessment regulations. Information on this can be found here as well as a good command of English (at least B2).
Applications must be submitted to the Chair of Quantitative Methods, in particular Econometrics, Prof. Dr. Bernhard Schipp, by 31 January of the respective year for the following winter semester.
The following documents must be submitted:
- Application form (via the Move-on Erasmus+ online portal)
- informal cover letter incl. letter of motivation
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form
- Copy of Bachelor's degree certificate or current grades, if degree not yet obtained
- Proof of English language skills.
