LaMaCe Project Meeting in Prague
From September 10 to 12, 2025, Prague University of Economics and Business hosted a project meeting as part of the LaMaCe (Labor Markets in Central Europe in Challenging Times) project, which is funded by the DFG and GACR. The TU Dresden project team (Prof. Dr. Kamila Cygan-Rehm, Maike Steffen, and Alexander Pönisch-Vitagliano) discussed the current status of the subprojects and next steps with colleagues from participating institutions in the Czech Republic and Poland. Currently, the work focuses on researching the long-term consequences of the sharp increase in remote work on the labor market trajectories of affected individuals, as well as the effects of the influx of Ukrainian refugees on the domestic workforce in affected countries.
