Chair Holder
Prof. Brendel has accepted an appointment at Indiana University (USA) and has left TU Dresden. From July 1, 2024, he will research and teach at the world-renowned Kelly School of Business.
The Chair has been advertised and is to be filled again from the summer semester of 2025.

Prof. Dr. Alfred Benedikt Brendel is ranked 73rd (top 5%) in the 2022 WirtschaftsWoche BWL ranking of the most research-strong business researchers in German-speaking countries. In addition, he is among the top 10% of business researchers under 40 years of age (39th place). In the 2020 version of the ranking, he was the most research-strong business administration researcher under 30 years of age.
