Research Seminar

The research seminar (10 LP) is a module module in the master's degree programs in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics and Industrial Engineering, as well as in the main studies of the diploma programs in Business Informatics and Industrial Engineering  (MA-WW-FS or D-WW-FS). The following points should be noted in this regard:

• The research seminar consists of a seminar paper and a presentation. This should show the main results of the seminar paper and can also be seen as an introductory presentation to the master's or diploma thesis.
• The content is primarily the development of a research design for the master's or diploma thesis. The focus is on scientific methods, but basic content for the subsequent master's thesis can also be developed. If the focus is on extent research a systematic literature review is often conducted.
• Participation in the research seminar is usually a prerequisite for the subsequent master's thesis at our chair. A temporally decoupled processing is possible.
