Master or Diploma Thesis with preparatory Research Seminar

Are you interested in a Master or Diploma Thesis with a preparatory Research seminar at our Chair?

Please visit the corresponding OPAL course site: https://bildungsportal.sachsen.de/opal/auth/RepositoryEntry/31729582080?26. There you will find, amongst other things, information about the application process as well as an integrated list of topics of the two Business Information Systems Chairs Business Engineering (Prof. Wiener) and Information Systems in Industry and Commerce (Prof. Strahringer). The research seminar is conducted by both chairs jointly. Applications are made via the OPAL course page. Please note that the research seminar may only be started within specific time frames.

Research paper

If you are interested in writing your Research paper ("Belegarbeit") at our Chair, please take notice of the following information:

• At least one month before the planned start date, please send your application by e-mail with the subject written as: "Application Research paper" to our Chair's office:

Seminar paper

Belegarbeit/Research paper (approx. 45 text pages)

Forschungsseminararbeit/Research seminar paper (approx. 30 text pages)

Please make sure to submit on time according to the deadline.

Hand in two physical copies (hardcover binding)

You can hand in the physical copies of your thesis as follows:

• at the secretary's office
• Outside opening hours please use the deadline mailbox on Helmholtzstraße (between Tillich-Bau and Hülße-Bau). The mailbox is emptied from Monday to Friday at 7:00 a.m. for the previous day. Please address the letters to: Faculty of Business and Economics, Chair of Business Information Systems, esp. Information Systems in Trade and Industry, Prof. Dr. Susanne Strahringer

• If you send your thesis by mail, please make sure it is received by the deadline.
